Text Transformation with Tone and Style Adjustments
  • We've introduced an AI feature where the text entered in the text editor can be modified by the user to change the tone and style of their text. This feature helps users tailor their messages for various contexts and improves clarity and tone alignment. The following actions are now supported - Change Tone, Simplify Text, Shorten Text, and Fix Spelling and Grammar
  • This feature can be enabled by navigating to Settings>Global Settings>AI Assistant
Changelog Popup
  • A new Changelog Popup feature has been added, which showcases the latest updates and changes pushed in the product. Users will now see a summary of new features and fixes directly when they log in, keeping them informed of the latest improvements.
New Additions & Fixes
Search Option for Templates in Compose Modal
  • Added a search functionality within the Compose modal to make it easier for users to locate message templates. This resolves the issue of manually scrolling through templates, which previously slowed down the process of selecting the right template.
Handled Different Formats of Email Data Structure
  • Fixed an issue where the system did not properly handle different email data formats, causing inconsistencies in email display. Now, all email formats are supported, ensuring smooth and reliable data handling.
Welcome Popup Mobile Responsive Width
  • Addressed a bug where the welcome popup was not properly responsive on mobile devices, leading to a broken layout. The popup now adjusts correctly for various screen sizes, providing a seamless mobile experience.
Copy Option for Phone Number and Email in Shopify Orders Panel
  • Introduced a new copy option for phone numbers and emails. This makes it easier for users to quickly copy these details without having to manually highlight and copy the text, streamlining customer interactions.

  • COD to Prepaid Automation - Merchants can now set up automation for converting COD orders to prepaid, with options to choose Razorpay as the payment gateway or the default Shopify checkout. To enable the automation, go to

  • COD to Prepaid Banner - Merchants can configure a banner to display on the Shopify checkout's thank you page for COD orders, featuring a clickable button for easy payment via a Razorpay payment link. To enable the banner, navigate to

  • Payment Gateway Integration - We've rolled out Razorpay integration for the merchants who want to use it in COD to Prepaid automation to collect the payment. To integrate Razorpay, go to Settings > Integration > Add New Integration. In the future, we will support Cashfree, Paytm, PayU, and PhonePe as requested.
  • New Statuses in Message Templates - We have added two new statuses:
    Paused and Disabled
    on the Message Templates page. These statuses will provide better clarity on the state of message templates. In addition, affected automation will display necessary information to ensure users are aware of interruptions. Admins will also receive email notifications when a message template is paused or disabled and the automation or broadcast is affected by it, ensuring timely awareness and action.

  • We have included a Customer Name column in the broadcast analytics CSV export. Users who have added customer names in the uploaded contact CSV or customer segment can now see this information when exporting analytics data for the particular broadcast.

New Features
Web App
  • We've introduced a feature that allows performing actions such as assigning tickets, closing tickets, etc., in bulk. Merchants will receive relevant notifications in the notification panel and event updates in the Messages panel for these actions. To perform any bulk action, select a few tickets by ticking the checkboxes in the ticket and pressing the Perform a bulk action button.
  • We've also rolled out a new feature that sends weekly and monthly emails with an overview of Marketing Analytics data. This provides a regular update on performance metrics. To enable this feature, navigate to
    Settings
    >
    Enable Weekly and Monthly email.
Mobile App
  • Merchants will receive notifications for every bulk action performed using the Web app and see event updates as well, ensuring they are informed about bulk operations on the go.
New Additions & Improvements
  • Admins will now receive email notifications whenever their Instagram or Facebook accounts are disconnected and need to be reauthorized.
  • The last entered country code is now retained in the WhatsApp compose window, addressing the issue of re-entering the code each time.
  • We have fixed a minor issue with the Fast Reply shortcut key, which was previously not functioning due to a conflict with other keyboard shortcuts.
  • The Back in Stock callout icon can now be customized to match the website theme colour. This will allow the merchants to avoid clashes with various website themes, affecting the visual consistency.
  • Agents will no longer see tickets from support channels they do not have access to. This change addresses the issue where agents could view tickets they didn't have access to. From now on, agents will only see tickets from restricted channels when assigned.
  • We have addressed the delay in closing the opt-out completion modal, which was taking extended time to process the action.
  • Searching and sorting functionality is now available on the customer segment page. Merchants can now search for a particular customer segment and sort the list as well.
  • We have fixed a minor issue where product syncing in the catalog took an extended time. This issue is now fixed and will work seamlessly for both the new catalog setup and product syncing from Shopify.

  • Back In Stock - This feature is now live for all. Through this feature, website visitors can subscribe to receive notifications when an out-of-stock product is available again. Utilize this feature to automatically inform your customers via WhatsApp as soon as the product is restocked, helping you boost your revenues effortlessly.
  • Marketing Analytics Dashboard - It's live and available for all the users. The dashboard will allow merchants to get a performance overview of WhatsApp Marketing campaigns and automation, and make informed decisions to drive success.
New Additions & Fixes
  • Now, in the Automation List, merchants can find a new column titled "Created By," providing insights into who has added a specific automation.
  • We've updated the names of buttons in the WhatsApp Catalog, making it easier to grasp their functionalities and have a better understanding.
  • Merchants can now seamlessly copy and paste images directly into the chat, streamlining the process of sharing image files.
  • From now on, phone numbers are now accurately counted even if the country code is omitted when uploading a CSV file in Broadcasts.
  • Specific help articles can now be linked in the Help Center.
  • We've fixed the compatibility issue that previously prevented support attachments from certain file types such as images, video, documents, voice notes, etc. when using drag and drop.

Web App:
We have made several changes to the Support Inbox that enhance the overall user experience.
  • Merchants can now drag and rearrange the positions of the Support Channels & Brands in Panel 1, the left-most panel.
  • You can now collapse/hide from view Panel 1. The additional space is given to Panel 3, the third panel from the left which shows the messages being sent/received from customers.
  • You can also collapse/hide from view Panel 4, the rightmost panel which contains the Shopify order history & Shopping functionality.
  • If both Panel 1 and Panel 4 are collapsed, you can further adjust the width of Panel 3, the customer messages panel.
  • When loading DelightChat, we will no longer automatically open the first ticket in a support channel.
  • In WhatsApp Marketing > Automations > Order Confirmation, a new option allows you to choose whether to send/skip sending the Order Confirmation messages for POS orders.
  • In WhatsApp Marketing > Welcome Popup, you can now configure additional options to capture a visitor’s Name and Email Address.

  • Back In Stock - Allow website visitors to subscribe to be notified when an out-of-stock product is back in stock. Using this feature, you can automatically notify your customers on WhatsApp when the product is restocked, thereby increasing revenues.
